Press Release: SyncOrg appoints Alexander Maresch as CEO and Aziz Landri as CFO

Dear partner,

We are delighted to announce 2 new senior appointments to the leadership team at SyncOrg with Alexander Maresch as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Aziz Landri as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Coupling a surge in demand for the Partner Transformation Program (PTP) along with our strategic partnership with Ingram Micro Cloud in 2021, SyncOrg is on track for further expansion in 2022. As a result, this is paving the way for commercial, financial and strategic success, which will spur SyncOrg’s ambitious growth plans.

Alexander brings over 20 years of international experience in strategy, finance and management in the IT and Telecoms sectors. He joins from Amadeus IT Group where he was in charge of Commercial Finance for the Payments and Innovation business units. Before joining Amadeus, Alexander was an Investment Director at SRS in charge of large M&A deals and Venture investments in the Healthcare industry. Prior to SRS, Alexander served as Managing Director at PXL Partners and Director of Strategy and Corporate Development at Monaco Telecom.

Aziz Landri joins from BOW Group where he was deputy Group CFO. Following several years in financial audit, he also held finance management positions in the hospitality sector at Louvre Hotels and in pharmaceuticals at Besins Healthcare Monaco.

Both bring with them a wealth of commercial, financial and strategic experience to lead SyncOrg’s ambitious growth plans.

The appointment of a new leadership team at SyncOrg highlights the company’s ongoing commitment to support AWS partners in maximising their businesses. Working alongside AWS, SyncOrg is growing the services offered to partners following 5 years of leading successful PTPs for several hundred AWS partners around the world.

Alexander Maresch commented: “SyncOrg is a trusted partner to Amazon Web Services and Ingram Micro providing the Partner Transformation Program that has proven its value in several hundred cases. We have an exciting future ahead as we strengthen our partnerships and assist more partners in developing their cloud businesses. The SyncOrg team is incredibly talented, and I look forward to leading this team and making a strong impact for our clients. “

Aziz Landri added “SyncOrg has a strong future in helping AWS partners maximize their business and I look forward to supporting their growth in the coming years. Having a global vision of the business and multiple financial KPIs for SyncOrg will be my first objective, it will consolidate our strategic decisions and allow us to orient the teams in the right direction and to focus on their missions.”

The massive uncertainty around COVID-19 has fixed some companies—and managers—in place, making them unable to react quickly to the changes affecting their business. But for others, it’s been a catalyst for change and an opportunity to gain new insights about their customers’ needs and to demonstrate their agility to adapt and grow.

One leader who has adopted the latter approach is Keith Choy, the head of the Asia–Pacific unit of GlaxoSmithKline’s (GSK) Consumer Healthcare group. Choy is encouraging his team of 6,000 people to consider the pandemic a call to action, a chance to double down on existing digitalization initiatives and strengthen end-to-end supply chains to even better respond to emerging consumption trends across the 23 Asia–Pacific markets the company serves. All while speeding up the cadence of the company.

In October, Choy spoke with McKinsey’s Kenneth Bonheure and David Schwartz to describe how GSK is responding to COVID-19, how the company is guided by its values, and what global companies can do to succeed in Asia during COVID-19 and beyond.
